Process

For the six figure placements I collaborated with two other people and we made a story based on superheroes. Each superhero has a different effect to the one superhero who gave or didn't give them powers. The placement of each superhero on the wall worked well with the theme itself because it was a very explosive scene.

For the short film based on the music tracks it was also another collaboration. The track was a very dark/ villainised piece so we made our film in that sense too. W e had a range of ideas such as;

locking an innocent teddy bear in a box and damaging it slowly in a time lapse
The battle of colour (we didn't elaborate on this idea)

But we decided on a story based on a bear being slowly corrupted and called it Savage Bear. When making the story boards each of us did a different part of the body and came up with this outcome which was eventually animated. However I think it would have more effect with the track music in the background.

Through collaboration I realised that I enjoy it but prefer crits and discussion and then go off individually and take that feedback on. Although it's not too bad with collaborating because the group I had luckily we were all in the same mindset. I don't mind it but I wouldn't go out of my way to choose it.
